Find mods in-game
Use the integrated mod browser, powered by mod.io, to discover, download, manage, and share mods in-game. It serves players on Steam, EGS, GOG, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The game uses its shared in-game browser in place of Steam Workshop to keep the mod library together across platforms. Manual downloads and sharing outside the browser remain possible.
Open Transport Fever 3 support to check the game's mod access details.
Sharing and creating mods
- How do uploaded mods reach console players?
- An optimized console version is generated automatically when a mod is uploaded. Mod storage requirements are adapted to each platform, and brand logos no longer prevent mods from being added to the Mod Hub on consoles.
- What can creators make and share?
- Improved modding tools help creators make vehicles, buildings, and infrastructure. The in-game map editor lets players craft maps based on reality or imagination, and the in-game mod browser lets them share creations.
- Can players share mods outside the Mod Hub?
- Yes. Players can manually download and share mods outside the in-game browser.
